The Path that Led Us Here
Founded in 2017
Adhere started in St. Louis, Missouri, in 2017 as a mobile app development company named Woods&Tech. The founder, Lamar Woods, was tired of building repetitive apps and was itching to start his business career.
First official client in2018
Our first official client was an athletics marketing company. That deal was a significant milestone for us.
While creating a portfolio project for the company, Lamar became infatuated with the idea of helping families heal from Drug Addiction. He transformed that project into a Tech Startup called SoHeart.
First dental
client in2021
SoHeart did some excellent work but didn't stand the test of time. We started focusing on clients again, and this is when we landed our first client in the dental space. This same year, we expanded our services to include marketing. Eventually, we decided to focus on healthcare providers.
Niched into dental in2023
Over time, our project count grew across multiple verticals, with dentistry and mental health taking up the largest share of our time.
After much debate, we decided to market our services to dental practices exclusively.
Became Adhere in2025
As a Dental Digital Agency, Woods&Tech was growing but had some problems. After listening to our clients, prospects, and the entire dental industry, we decided to tear down what was in favor of focusing on what mattered most to dentists. With a new focus came a new name, new services, and a new brand altogether. That brand is Adhere Patient Management.
